The Rocky Bluff Library provides access to numerous Clubs and group activities. The Friends are committed to ensuring the Library has the resources it needs to offer as many of these as possible. Some of the current offerings we support are:

- Creative Aging classes

There are always a number of projects in the works at the Library that the Friends group is responsible for. These activities are a way to get involved and help in an area you feel passionate about. Some of the current projects underway are:
- Write Community Grants
- Conduct two used book sales per year
- Operate a Book Store
- Hold Annual Author Events
- Sponsor Special Events

The Library is always evolving to offer the best access to a variety of resources for the community. The Friends of Rocky Bluff Library host multiple fund raising events a year in order to help with capital improvements both large and small. Some of the past projects funded by the Friends Group include:
- Upgraded Children/Teen furniture
- LED outdoor sign
- Interior Lighting and Displays
- Creation of attractive outdoor landscaping
- Library Collection Additions
- Added Subscriptions, newspapers and magazines

We extend our support for the whole of the Manatee County Library System through our partnerships with all Friends groups in Manatee County. Through collaboration with these other Friends groups we also lend support for broader county events and functions.

Management Committees
All corporate activity of the Friends is under the management of the Board of Directors led by the Executive Committee. The Board of Directors consists of the Executive Committee and not less than five (5) or more than twenty one (21) total members. The head librarian of Rocky Bluff Library is an Ex-Officio member of the Board.
